The 2009 Pontiac G3, which already a success in Canada and Mexico, is a new entry-level vehicle for the US market from the GM division now. In the first six month of 2008, they got up to 33% sales in the segment. The 2009 G3 will join the all-new 2009 Vibe soon and recently enhanced 2009 versions of the G6 sedan and G5 coupe.
The 2009 Pontiac G3 has a 5-speed manual with 4-speed automatic optional. The G3 powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 106 horsepower and 105 pound-feet of torque. The G3’s dimensions are 155 inches in length, 66.1 inches in width and 50.3 inches in height, with 14-inch wheels.
The estimated fuel economy for the 2009 Pontiac G3 checks in at 27 mpg city/34 mpg highway and 30 mpg combined, and the automatic drops to 25/34/28 mpg.

The 2009 Pontiac G3’s interior has five seats, including a folding armrest on the driver’s seat and “theater”-style seating for the rear seat passengers. Its cargo capacity is 60/40 split to offer up to 42 cubic feet.
The interior has front cloth bucket seats, air conditioning, a roof-mounted sunglasses holder and also an AM/FM radio with a single CD player. Another features of the 2009 Pontiac G3 includes power steering, body-colored mirrors, fog lights, and also front driver and passenger airbags and seat-mounted side airbags for the front row occupants for safety.
