Available as a sedan or coupe, the 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix is a roomy mid-sized car perfect for family trips, while its high-performance V6 engine and sporty handling have enough kick to keep the driving enthusiast plenty satisfied.
Totally redesigned in 1997, the Grand Prix sports a muscular, aggressive look in both coupe and sedan versions. Sedans come in SE, GT, and GTP trims. Coupes come as a GT or GTP only. The 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix has two new exterior colors: Dark Bronzemist Metallic and Medium Gulf Blue Metallic.
The SE features a 3.1-liter, 160-hp V6, while the GT and GTP come with a much more aggressive and faster 3.8 V6. In the GT, this hits 200-hp, a 5-hp increase from the previous year. The 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix have 4-speed automatic transmission.
The 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix’s external dimensions are 4,991 mm length, 1,847 mm width, 1,389 mm height, and 2,807 wheelbase.

The 1999 Pontiac Sunfire gets improvements over the trunk and under the hood. They consist of a new rear spoiler for the Sunfire sedan, and several new componentsfor the 2.4-liter engine. One new exterior color is added for the new model year.
The 1999 Pontiac Sunfire comes in 4 models- SE Coupe, SE Sedan, GT Coupe and new for 1999 GT Convertible. Pontiac Sunfire convertibles were moved from SE to GT trims for 1999. Other model trims continued unchanged. Reliability Rating marked 1999 Pontiac Sunfire’s engine problems as moderate, minimal for transmission and driveline, minimal for steering and suspension, minimal for brakes, minimal for heating and air conditioning, moderate for starting and charging, and moderate for accessories.
The 1999 Pontiac Sunfire has 2,189 cc 2.2 liters 4 in-line front transverse engine with 89 mm bore, 88 mm stroke, 9 compression ratio, cast iron block, light alloy head, overhead valve and two valves per cylinder. The external dimensions are 4,615 mm length, 1,725 mm width, 1,389 mm height, and 2,644 mm wheelbase.

The Pontiac Bonneville was once a quintessential American car: large, roomy and fast. The 1999 model is also a bit of a sports performer, with a zippy engine and performance suspension that add a little spice to the space.
The 1999 Pontiac Bonneville was pretty much unchanged from 1998. It came in 2 trims. Both the SE and sportier SSE are powered by a 3.0-liter, 205-hp V6 engine with a standard 4-speed auto tran. The SSEi package for the SSE offered a supercharged, 240-hp V6 and driver-select 4-speed auto transmission. The SLE package added all the sports suspension, tires, and extra features of the SSEi to the SE trim, except for the supercharged engine.
All of the 1999 Pontiac Bonneville’s engines came paired with a 4-speed overdrive automatic transmission. SSEi models got dual airbags and antilock brakes. SE and SSE models made due with a driver-side airbag and optional antilock brakes.
The 1999 Pontiac Bonneville has 6 seats with split-bench front seat type. It has driver and passenger airbag, safety locks, adjustable front headrests, daytime running light, front fog lights, and engine immobilizer for safety.
