- 1995 Pontiac Firebird
The Firebird continues to provoke fans and potential purchasers alike with its exciting ride and strong engine (base engine is a 3.4-liter 160-hp V6 and the Trans Am brings a 5.7-liter 275-hp LT1 V8 with 6 speeds ). The 1995 Pontiac Firebird is very similar to to the 1994, having only introduced 3 new and low suspension make for all models and new wheels on the Trans Am.
In the 1995 Pontiac Firebird, the rear wheel drive and low suspension make for a road-hugging ride that will a little greasy in winter weather. Otherwise, Firebird brings its standard promises: an exciting though loud ride for the driver and front-seat package, with a cramped ride for anyone who dare attempt and fit in the rear seat.

Regardless of all its good points on performance and handling, the 1995 Pontiac Firebird still has many major inabilities. They can be discovered within.
GM has made great strides in recent times making improvements to the seats in its vehicles. But somehow the 1995 Pontiac Firebird - at least the base models - have been overlooked. The thinly padded bucket seats in our test vehicle lacked support in all areas, and the headrest was next to useless.
The more expensive Formula and Trans Am come with better seats. The base model 1995 Pontiac Firebird - first class in many ways - merits better. Although the Firebird is a reasonably massive sports automobile, do not expect much interior room. The back seats are almost uninhabitable for adults. Its better to think about the Firebird as a two-seater. The back seats and trunk are best used for groceries and tiny packages.
On the positive side, the snug cockpit is a cleanly styled, user-friendly place. Most controls are less than an arm’s length away. The radio can be adjusted by using buttons on the rim of the steering wheel. Like a true sports vehicle, the 1995 Pontiac Firebird comes with a complete set of analog gauges. They are engaging, well-lighted and straightforward to read.
1995 Pontiac Firebird interior dimensions: front headroom (mm): 945, rear headroom (mm): 897, front hip room (mm): 1,341, rear hip room (mm): 1,128, front leg room (mm): 1,092, rear leg room (mm): 734, front shoulder room (mm): 1,458 and rear shoulder room (mm): 1,417.

The 1995 Pontiac firebird also had the Formula/Trans am package that offered a few extra features, like the stock PERFORM button for the transmission that added an extra 25% to torque. These models are hard to find.
